You Deserve to be Recognized!

Each year, CJCLS, in partnership with EBSCO, recognizes community college libraries for excellence in library programming and in leadership.  The EBSCO Community College Learning Resources Award recognizes libraries that “demonstrate significant achievement in development of a unique and innovative learning resources/library program.”  Past award winners include Palo Alto College library for the “Library al a Carte” program; Diana Fitzwater from the College of DuPage for embedding information literacy throughout the college curriculum; and Hazard Community and Technical College for its creation of an annual, regional professional development program for librarians in Southeastern Kentucky.  Information about the Learning Resources Award can be found here.  Recipients receive a citation and a $500.00 award courtesy of EBSCO Information Services.

The EBSCO Community College Library Leadership Award recognizes “significant achievement in the areas of community college leadership.”  Past award winners include Kenley Neufeld of Santa Barbara City College, Melora Mirza of Georgia Perimeter College (Dunwoody Campus), and Linda Baker of El Centro College Library.  Recipients of this award also receive a citation and a $500.00 award courtesy of EBSCO Information Services.  Information about the Leadership Award can be found here.
